By using TRT GOLD's telehealth services, you acknowledge and consent to the following:
Nature of Telehealth
Telehealth involves the use of electronic communications (video, phone, secure messaging) to enable healthcare providers at different locations to share patient medical information for diagnosis, consultation, treatment, and follow-up.
Benefits
- Convenient access to specialized care without travel.
- Discreet, private consultations.
- Continuity of care via secure messaging and follow-up.
Risks & Limitations
- Technology failures may delay or interrupt care.
- Without a physical exam, the physician may not detect conditions that an in-person visit would.
- Electronic transmissions, while encrypted, carry residual privacy risk.
- The physician may determine telehealth is not appropriate for your condition and refer you to in-person care.
Prescription Discretion
The physician will prescribe medication only if they determine it is medically appropriate. A prescription is not guaranteed.You may be required to complete lab work, provide medical history, or undergo follow-up before a prescription is issued.
Emergencies
Telehealth is not suitable for emergencies. Call 911 or go to the nearest ER for emergencies.
Consent
